We like to think of ourselves as “Boutique” OB/GYN. Every single patient in our practice is treated as an individual. Our goal is to make every patient feel as though they were our only patient. We know each and every patient in our practice. We do not run our office like a factory, and with us, they will never be treated like a number. As such, their medical care will never be dictated; they are always in control.
All the latest advances in Obstetrics & Gynecology are available at our office. However, we have not lost our personal touch with individual patients. All aspects of patient care, including clinical and non-clinical issues, are individualized. and catered to each unique patient. Same-day appointments are always available, and all phone calls are answered the same day. Patients have a choice of seeing a male or a female physician or one of our two very competent nurse practitioners. · To treat each patient as his own family member,

· To be very particular and obsessive in paying attention to detail, and
· Not being afraid to work hard.
Arina Tutunik, DO was born in Ukraine and moved to the United States with her family at the age of eight. She was raised in Queens and attended Forest Hills High School. Following graduation, she attended the University of Maryland where she received her Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology and Physiology. Dr. Tutunik then moved to California to study Medicine at TUCOM School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Francisco. Following Medical School, she returned back to New York for her OB/GYN residency here on Long Island at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip.
Dr. Tutunik has been delivering babies and performing complex gynecologic surgeries for the past four years. Her experience encompasses a vast array of obstetrical and gynecological entities, including high risk and abnormal pregnancies, infertility, adolescent gynecology, menopause, and gynecological cancer, as well as many benign conditions such as ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain and vulvovaginal infections. She is experienced in both advanced surgical skills as well as minimally-invasive procedures. However, according to her, delivering babies is her top passion, and she is still mesmerized by the birth of each and every baby she brings into this world. Her obstetrical training has not only created a competent and experienced obstetrician, but also one who is caring, compassionate and warm.
Asides from being an exceptional physician, Dr. Tutunik also has a charming personality and a great sense of humor. She blends very well with the rest of our lovely staff. It is her well-rounded background and respectable social demeanor that completes her as a doctor in all sense of the word. She is also a recent newlywed, and lives with her husband (and their dog) near Winthrop-University Hospital (where the majority of our deliveries and surgeries take place). She's fluent in the Russian language and also studied Spanish during her recent month-long mission trip to Costa Rica.
